About Us

How it all started…. We established our business in 2007, Helen was coming to the end of her maternity leave and wanted to learn all about Balloons.

Here is our timeline:

2007 - Professional Balloon Training

Helen successfully completed an intensive multi-day Balloon Professional Training program, earning accreditation as a certified Balloon Professional.

2007 - Business established, working from home.

We began promoting our services by offering a wide range of bespoke balloon décor for a variety of events, including parties, weddings, and corporate functions. Over time, we successfully completed numerous installations across diverse event settings.

2008 - NABAS Balloon Festival of Art.

A full day and evening of activities and events tailored specifically for balloon professionals at the NABAS Show 2008.

2008 – More Balloon training in Tamworth

We completed comprehensive training in various aspects of balloon decoration, covering a range of design techniques and essential fundamentals of the balloon industry.

2009 – Adapting the business

In response to increasing client demand, we expanded our service offerings beyond balloon decoration to
include full venue styling. This now encompasses chair covers, table
centrepieces, LED dance floors, and other decorative elements. The consistent volume of requests highlighted a clear need for comprehensive event dressing,
which we were proud to meet.

2010 – Securing our 1st Business Premises

As the business continued to grow, we secured our first commercial premises in Aintree, Liverpool. This
dedicated space enabled us to store, showcase, and expand our range of services. In addition to our event offerings, we launched a retail division featuring
greeting cards and a wide selection of party products. We were also proud to
become members of BAPIA (The Balloon and Party Industry Alliance), and we
remain committed members to this day.

 2012 – Moving to a New Premises

After two successful
years at our retail premises, we made the strategic decision to relocate to a
new site in Bootle, Liverpool, dedicated exclusively to showcasing our Balloon
Décor and Venue Dressing services. Operating by appointment only, we offered personalised consultations for a wide range of events.

During this period, we
expanded our corporate portfolio, delivering high-impact balloon décor for
clients such as Liverpool Santa Dash, Subway, Virgin Media, Co-op, Castle
Bingo, Iceland, Radio City, Cheshire Oaks, and Tesco. Our services included
custom printed balloons and large-scale outdoor installations, such as spiral
balloon arches.

We operated from our Bootle showroom for four years. However, following a house move outside the area, we began actively searching for new premises in St Helens to better align with our new location.

2016 - We found new Premises in St Helens

In March 2016, we acquired a retail premises located at 76 Cambridge Road, St Helens, WA10, marking our return to the retail sector. This location would become our home for the next seven years. From the outset, we introduced a comprehensive selection of greeting cards and an extensive range of balloons, along with a diverse
collection of embroidered teddy bears, including popular cubbies such as
monkeys and bunny rabbits. We quickly settled into our new environment and were warmly welcomed by the local community.

2023 – Cementing our future

After seven successful years renting at 76 Cambridge Road, an exciting opportunity arose to purchase our
very own retail premises—just a short distance away—on the same street. Staying on Cambridge Road was important to us, as we had developed strong ties within the local community and truly felt at home.

The new premises at 100 Cambridge Road offered a larger, brighter, and more versatile space, providing the perfect foundation for the continued growth of our business. We officially received the keys in December 2022 and immediately began an extensive four-month renovation project. Our goal was to transform the space into a
purpose-built, modern retail environment that would showcase our full range of products and services.

The result was a beautifully designed, welcoming retail premises that reflects our brand identity and enhances
the overall customer experience. This new chapter represents not only a
significant milestone in our journey but also a reaffirmation of our commitment
to serving the local community and delivering exceptional service and quality in all that we do.
